♥ hot title:ALL about genting!!
While waiting for the pictures,
Genting was seriously super duper FUN!!
well, probably it was because of friends..
On the First day,
Reached there around 4 plus,
collected the room keys...
unpacked stuff..
and headed for the opening ceremony where few Bandies participated
and did a great job!
WELL DONE!
went back to the rooms soon after that..
Next day, 25 November
woke up early for breakfast
followed by rehearsals
then came time for the Competition..
went to this haunted house
where we paid to get scared..
then,
I kinda got mischievous in the night..
Sorry bandies..
Because of that,
Third day,
had workshop in the morning by Mituso Nonami..
lunched
then we got grounded in the Hotel rooms for an entire day,
until the friendship concert where we had done Mission Impossible.
Thanks who those who supported the Percussionists..
and most importantly,
ME!!!
Thank you!
the results came out then
where we got to know that we obtained 77%, a sliver..
Fourth Day,
Had breakfast,
Headed to the Theme park..
DAM FUN!!
then
went to
"Ripley's, Believe it or Not"
with my group where we got entertained by mysterious people and discoveries..
headed back to the theme park where we took the spaceshot
the one which shoots you all the way up and drops at high speed..
DAM DAM FUN!
we were all holding hands like super tightly..
our butt's totally lifted off the seats when it dropped..
oh wow..NICE RIDE
Awesome can!!
went to shop a little while then headed back to the rooms to rest..
Closing ceremony soon later where we got to hear the gold bands perform..
Pasir Ris Sec was very good !!

Last Day,
Packed and bus-ed back to Singapore..

As much as i would like to update about my trip to genting,

Band today,
went through greenhills,
Postcard and
Mission Impossible..
oh wow..
WE CAN DO IT!
stayed back a little while..
helped out in the notice board..
Headed to church for practice..
Thanks to the new arrangement,
the trumpeters are now behind me..
they did a couple or 3 fanfares.
all the 1st trumpeters were Directly behind me..
then they blast like hell..
Now my head DAMN pain..
Really larh..
Could not concentrate..
PAIN LIKE MAD CAN..
shall continue the rest of the post tmrl..

Phew..
I finally reached home from all the noise..
Band today in the morning till afternoon..
Had sectionals today..
Went through mission impossible again..
i know it may tend to be a little boring..
but bear with me for a little while until the trip is over
and i guarantee you, the percists..
Won't be seeing the piece ever again..
Then,
sir briefed us about the genting trip,
yet again,
the Do's and Don'ts..
basically about the Manners and Discipline our band should have,
the proper way we should conduct ourselves..
Band ended soon later..
Stayed behind to play a little bridge..
God Knows what i was doing..
Walked to Lot 1..
See people eat..
Ran all the way home..
whoo!
Rushed down to Church
For sectionals.
then that Matthew never come..

Well, it would only be a few days more to endure,
not only to my percussionists,
but to the band as well..
i believe that all of us..
and i mean ALL are able to do it..
Get our very first gold and I'm sure all the teachers would be proud of us,
Kranjians would envy..
Make Trip to genting A memorable one.
A Trip for us to recall that we won a gold on our very first trip overseas..
End it with a BLAST!

My phone is giving me problems..

so i suspected it was due to the low memory..

Out with PeiSi and JiaYing today..
headed town to get JiaYing shoes
and alot of other things for her prom night..
we've been walking and walking and walking..
early dinner there then headed home.
Went for the rehearsal in church today at 7.30pm
came in pretty late with Adela today..
Did a round of introduction,
and so we made friends..
there were only 2 trombonists,
1 trumpeter for the brasses..
1 oboist,
1 flautist and
1 Tenor recorder player in woodwinds..
3 violinists and
1 cellist for the strings..
for today larh..
and the sound produced was truly amazing..
the players there were super good!!!
let me tell you how powerful they are..
we only need the 1 trumpeter and 1 trombonist to fill the entire hall..
Dam impressed..
Well,
i get to play Violin 2..
which is the counter-melody of violin 1..
i guess so..
YAYYyyyy!
well,
I got a part in it..
Enough..
there will probably be more players coming in next week..
excited!!!
but still,
with already so few people today,
we managed to get 4 songs complete and stuff..
and i'm NOT showing off..
Oppss..
but well,
DAM Fun..
it's going to be tough..
Sectionals for the Strings are on tuesdays and
Full band practice on Fridays..
Now i have Full time band..
oh wow..
Band in the morning and Band in the nights..
well,
probably the Band at nights are going to be more fun..
very tiring larhss
2 days to Practical Exam..
Now I'am worried..
Someone give me strength..
but i know i can do it..
and i will...
i want distinctions!!!

Went to bugis today with peisi..
met Alice and clique..
waited for Zhenyi..
which took her 1 1/2 hour to arrive..
SUPER FAST CAN!!!
i enjoyed the wait..
the moment she arrived,
headed to bugis street..
saw jocelyn with her mummy..
then peisi saw nothing from there..
so we MRT-ed to Far East..
there we met Alice plus friends again..
peiwen was there together with Amelia,
and alot of Kranjians..
super lots..
they probably knew i was going there,
soo...
you know..
anyways,
walked to wisma,
then to taka..
flipped through music scores in Kinokuniya..
then bus-ed back to lot 1 lorhs..
then i cabbed home..
i used all modes of transportation..
yay..
then reached home,
dinner awaiting me..

Band at 8.30am today,
did sectionals all the way til lunch..
came back for a briefing by the band teachers..

woke up with a terrible dream today.
Monsters were like chasing me..
i guess i watch too much tv..
super scary..
i slept at 4 and woke up at 6..
thanks to the dream..
slept at 7 again, til 12.45pm..

well,
played monopoly..

Had Theory at 6..
came back at 7 plus..
Did a little of practicing on the violin.

Lunched at this place..
where we had like..
chicken wrapped with paper..

then mom complained that she was like still hungry..
so went to waffle town..

then brother said he wanted to go town..
so went Taka..
they had this car event going on..
well, i guess these are the people who wants to win a car..
they were already at their 26th hour when we went there..

they still have 2 days to go..
then at this corner
there was the same event going on by SPC..
but this time,
it was a small car..
apparently there were like so many parents..
forcing their kids there..
the only difference was that,
they only needed to stand there for 5 minutes?
impressive..
the kids were like sweating their heads off..
then at another corner,
there was another competition..
Fastest to remove and replace the tires of the car..
and u win like something..
probably the tools they gave you to unscrew the bolts..
then my mom went in to shop..
and shop.

Oh well,
long day today..
The band went for a sports enrichment today..
er.yeah..it was bowling..
we were being taught the basics of bowling
and after all the drills,
we had a friendly match..
where Awal scored the highest of 103..
oh wow.
=.= he was like so proud of it..
Lunched at limbang
with Kam Ho,
James,
Awal..
Returned back to band for sectionals..
Mission Impossible we did..
Phew..super tiring..
Cabbed to CCA Branch to see the
Passing-out-Parade of Pei Si and Zhen Yi..
Congratulations to PeiSi and ZhenYi!!
We cabbed there because there was this guy
who acted so 'gentlemanly' by not letting the girls sit Miss Thng's car..
I'll let you on a secret..
that guy's Awal..
oh well..
Anyways,
i thought that the 34th Majors did really well today..
er..well done?
Bus-ed home after everything..
the bus was really really packed..
i slept standing.
magic..
i have intense violin practice tomorrow..
long day again..
but just to remind me,
i only have 9 days to my practical exam..

I Am super Tired!
Reached TMC educational Centre
just in time for my theory exam..
oh well,
went well i guess..
i want a 90 and above..
i want a distinction..
although i know i'd lost 6 marks already but still,
i have 4 marks to play with..
i hope everything else is fine..
So now i know that tenor clef
could be used for trombone..
stupid larh..
I spent my whole entire 2 hours..
doing the paper and checking..
over and over again..
i cannot afford to lose any marks..
People started leaving like an hour after the paper started..
i guess they gave up..
either that or they're PRO..
but,
i guess not..
Dad waited for me outside my room..
drove to pick my mom from work,
had lunch..
at some place..
then headed for my violin..
Super tiring..
a whole 4 hours lesson
which includes oral and listening tests..
not forgetting scales..
Dinner at holland V..
Home now.
Tired..
